For the first time ever, we’re heading to the Maldives aboard the incredible Scubaspa, a one of a kind luxury floating resort that perfectly blends world class diving with indulgent spa experiences, stunning ocean views and total island style relaxation.

This trip is extra meaningful for our community as our Founder returns to hosting for the first time since welcoming her second child, and for the very first time all three members of the Girls That Scuba Trips Team - our Founder Sarah, Social Media Manager Charlotte and Trips Manager Amy - will be onboard together, PLUS we are celebrating 10 years of Girls That Scuba!

Between the three of them they’ve hosted hundreds of Girls That Scuba Trippers over the years, so many of you already know them well - and if you do, you’ll know this trip is guaranteed to be a VIBE!!

The Scubaspa is unlike any liveaboard you’ve experienced before. This beautifully designed yacht offers spacious cabins, elegant lounges, open sun decks and a full onboard spa, creating the perfect balance between adventure and wellness.

Between dives exploring the Maldives’ vibrant reefs, channels and manta cleaning stations, you can unwind with a massage, enjoy yoga on deck, relax in the jacuzzi or simply soak up the endless Indian Ocean views. With exceptional service, incredible cuisine (some of the best food we have ever experienced on a liveaboard!) and dedicated dive facilities, Scubaspa delivers a truly premium liveaboard experience that elevates a dive trip into something far more special.

Choose from four types of stylish and comfortable cabins, designed to be a relaxing retreat after a full day of diving, ocean adventures and sunset cocktails. Each cabin blends modern touches with warm, natural finishes to create a calm, welcoming space where you can truly unwind between dives.

  Some cabins are available to book as private suites, while others are offered as twin share suites with another Girls That Scuba guest. Explore the room types below.

This trip is designed for certified divers who are comfortable diving in open ocean conditions. Guests should hold a minimum Advanced Open Water certification (or equivalent) and have at least 30 logged dives, as many of the Maldives’ most exciting dive sites are channel and drift dives where currents can be present.

Divers should feel confident with good buoyancy control and be comfortable entering and exiting the water from a dhoni (the dedicated dive boat used in the Maldives). The dive team onboard Scubaspa are incredibly experienced and will provide thorough briefings before every dive, ensuring everyone feels prepared and safe while exploring the spectacular reefs, channels and marine life the Maldives is famous for.

Brimming with biodiversity and home to marine creatures large and small, the Maldives are globally renowned as a premier diving and snorkelling destination. Its crystal clear waters with a consistent temperature between 26˚ and 29˚C (78˚ and 84˚F) make it a year-round paradise for underwater explorers.

Beyond the incredible diving, life onboard Scubaspa is filled with experiences designed to make your time in the Maldives truly unforgettable. Enjoy daily yoga sessions on deck, relax during open air movie nights, and take part in island and beach visits on some of the Maldives’ stunning sandbanks. Weather permitting, we will have a group Beach BBQ on a deserted island.

For those wanting more time in the water between dives, there are opportunities for snorkelling, as well as the use of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to adventure further.

There are 2 different dive packages available on this trip, of which every guest must choose between the 2. The cost of either package is included in the price of your room, and there is no price difference between either package.

SCUBA ONLY PACKAGE: Up to 17 dives, no spa treatments.

SCUBA AND SPA PACKAGE: Upto 6 dives and 4 spa treatments.

Please note that exchanging dives for spa treatments within a package is not available. Guests who have selected the Scuba Only Package may book chargeable spa treatments, depending on availability.

This luxury liveaboard retreat aboard Scubaspa is designed for certified divers who want to explore the Maldives’ world class dive sites while enjoying the comfort and amenities of a premium floating spa.

While the trip offers a more relaxed pace than some of our expedition style dive trips, it is still very much a diving focused experience, combined with the signature Girls That Scuba community atmosphere and the indulgent comfort of the Scubaspa liveaboard.

You will be on board the boat for 7 nights sharing a room with one other female roommate or in a private room. Group trips are fun and supportive environments to be a part of, read our reviews here to get more of an idea of what to expect.

All bookings are subject to our cancellation policy. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance, and cancellation timelines apply to any additional payments made. If you need to cancel, we will always do our best to assist in reselling your space where possible, in line with the policy terms.
