Overview

Quick Facts

Dates: 26th December 2026 - 2nd January 2027

Destinations: Providenciales, West Caicos and French Caye

Duration: 8 days/7 nights

Fly in: Providenciales (PLS)

Fly out: Providenciales (PLS)

Type of trip: Women's Only Liveaboard Expedition

Group size: 10

Dive Experience: Open Water 20 logged dives

The Turks & Caicos Islands are an absolute dream for scuba divers, and there’s no better place to welcome the New Year! Expect unreal shades of turquoise, dramatic wall dives, vibrant coral reefs and a thriving population of Caribbean reef sharks. In Turks & Caicos, it’s shark week every week, and that’s exactly why we love it.

This will be our second Girls That Scuba New Year trip, because starting the year underwater, surrounded by sharks, sunshine, and an incredible community of women just hits differently. This trip is all about the VIBES and the diving. While the Turks & Caicos Explorer II is a comfortable, well-run dive liveaboard, this is not one of our luxury liveaboard trips, and that’s very much part of the charm.

The plan is to spend far more time in the communal areas, on the dive deck, and under the stars than in our cabins, celebrating the New Year together, sharing stories, and very likely dancing our way into 2027 between dives. With up to 27 dives during the week, legendary crew traditions (yes, Tutu Tuesday is a thing), and a boat full of like-minded women, this is the kind of trip you’ll still be talking about long after the bubbles have cleared.

Join us in pirate’s paradise and kick off 2027 the Girls That Scuba way!

minimum Dive Requirements

This trip is best suited to certified Open Water divers or above who are comfortable living on and diving from a liveaboard. While this is not a technical trip, the diving in Turks & Caicos often includes wall dives, deeper profiles and occasional mild currents, so some prior experience is recommended.

Ideally, you should feel confident with your buoyancy, comfortable in open water and have completed around 20+ logged dives. Advanced Open Water certification is not mandatory, but is required in order to participate in the night dives.

Overall this trip is suitable for divers of all levels.

Between dives you can relax on deck, soak up the scenery and enjoy delicious meals prepared fresh onboard, a mix of local flavours, classic favourites and chef inspired dishes. With three meals a day, plenty of dive snacks and post dive treats (including hot cocoa after night dives), you’ll be exceptionally well looked after both above and below the surface.
