Once again, Girls That Scuba has absolutely knocked it out of the park! Raja Ampat was the bucket list trip of my dreams; Charlotte from GTS and the team on the Amira more than delivered! From breath-taking diving to drool-worthy accommodations, no detail is overlooked. Also, I can’t speak enough about the female fellowship on this trips - it’s the ‘x factor’ that brings the magic to the GTS trips. Book one today, you will NOT be disappointed!

Roatan was a great location to have a GTS trip. At first I thought 24 women would feel like a big group but it was a great size and over the course of the week it was easy to meet everyone and find people you really connected with. Our two group leaders Christine and Claire were phenomenal- they were energetic, communicated clearly, asked for our feedback and handled any concerns immediately. They were particularly helpful in communicating with our captain and dive masters from the resort when we expressed that we wanted more detailed dive briefings. The accommodations that were chosen were wonderful and the food options were delicious and we ate very well. I would love to do another GTS trip!

This was my third trip with GTS (Egypt '24 and Maldives '25). I'm so happy to have spend my NYE and trip with such an amazing group of women in a beautiful location! The group felt very welcoming and harmonious. It was such great fun!! Thank you all ❤️ |||| Hosts Christine and Claire did amazing! They both compliment each other well. They took their time to listen to our feedback and rolled out feedback to the resort and divecrew. In the WhatsApp group they were quick on answering our questions and posted handy information in time. |||| Location The resort AKR was lovely! Beautiful and clean cabins, the food was great, the staff ever friendly. The pickup from the airport was flawless. But, there was something that I didn't like about AKR. I do feel that AKR doesn't really align with GTS standards when it's about animal welfare. There's a dolphin pen with enclosed dolphins for tourists to cuddle and touch. Their sister resort (Maya Key - that we visited for a day) had tied up parrots who looked sickly and monkeys in small enclosures and in the heat of the sun. The reefs around Roatan were nice, but I don't think they're as exciting for the 'serious' diver who will dive 3-4 times a day. Personally, I missed a 'hangout spot' near the dive shop for log booking and reef identification books to look up what you've seen. |||| Dive crew The dive crew was amazing! Humberto, Marvin and Kasner made sure we had a good time on the boat and in the sea! The vibe was vibing, haha. In the beginning of the week we missed a good dive briefing beforehand, which they fixed and implemented after our feedback and wishes. I do feel the groups per guide were too big though (1 guide to 12 guests). I hope GTS will adjust that for future (Roatan) trips. ||| I really had a great time and I can recommend going with GTS!

It was my first time on a GTS trip, and it was great to arrive somewhere and already have a built in friend group. It was an enjoyable week surrounded by fascinating women. I would definitely return for another trip.

What a fantastic trip! We had the best group of ladies ever and had some wonderful dives. We ate, drank, laughed, and dove together for one wonderful week and I can't wait to do it again!!

Just returned from an unforgettable GTS liveaboard dive trip in the Maldives, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized, thanks in large part to Amy, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of. She was always available, super friendly, and genuinely invested in making the trip special for each guest. The dives were spectacular! We saw everything from vibrant coral reefs to manta rays, sharks, and massive schools of fish. Every dive offered something unique, and the variety of sites kept the whole trip exciting. What made it even better was the team of fantastic local dive guides, who were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also took the time to understand each group's experience level and interests. They gave personalized briefings, were meticulous about safety, and created a relaxed, supportive atmosphere underwater. The Maldives are known for their currents, so I would advise prospective divers to be fit and ready to swim! Know your level of experience before signing up. The guides always made it clear when a certain dive would involve more current, so maybe sit out on some of the more advanced sites if you aren't comfortable. Initial groups were allocated by number of dives but were reshuffled after assessment which helped everyone get the best experience.
